Why we exist.

Most computer problems don't need a shop. They need someone to show up with the right tools, do the work while you watch, and answer your questions without trying to sell you anything. Founder David Miller started AGOD in 2010 with that simple idea — and we've built everything around it since.

Traditional computer repair asks a lot of you: unplug everything, drive to a store, hand over your device, and wait days for a call you don't fully follow — then pay a bill full of line items you never approved. AGOD was built to work the other way. We come to you, at home or the office, and do the work while you watch, so you can see what's happening and why. You hear the price before we start, not after — and we won't push a product you don't need or sign you up for anything you didn't ask for. That on-site, transparent, no-pressure way of working isn't a slogan for us; it's the whole reason AGOD exists.

How we work.

You book a window. We text on the way. What you’ll pay depends on the kind of help you need — an on-site visit, a remote session, and business or network work each have their own rate, all laid out on our pricing page. There’s a 1-hour minimum, and the first hour covers diagnosis and most common fixes; if a job runs bigger than that, we tell you the price before we touch it — no surprise invoices, no “while we’re here” padding.

A $25 travel fee may apply for locations more than 20 miles from the nearest service area, always quoted before booking. We bill by the hour for on-site work because honest work doesn’t fit a price sheet. What we don’t do: “no fix, no fee” gimmicks, free quotes that turn into bait-and-switch, or signing you up for a monthly plan you didn’t ask for.

What we fix.

Windows PCs, Macs, Chromebooks. Phones and tablets — software, accounts, transfers. Wi-Fi that drops, printers that won’t print, smart-home gear that won’t pair. Cameras, doorbells, thermostats, hubs. Virus and malware cleanups. Data recovery from drives that won’t boot. Small-business networks, email migrations, backup and recovery. If it has a power button and it’s frustrating you, ask.

Where we work.

On-site coverage across 9 metro areas — plus the surrounding suburbs, typically within about a 35-mile radius of each. Same-day calls are usually possible; the hard ones we flag up front and book the first slot we can guarantee.

Who we are.

We’ve done thousands of jobs across our metros, and our reviews on Thumbtack and Google reflect that. There’s no call center — when you book, you get a real person scheduling a real visit.
