SSD upgrades
The single biggest speed upgrade for an older computer. We clone your drive over — nothing is lost.
Estimates are typical residential ranges and assume our standard hourly rate. Because we bill hourly, the final cost depends on how long the job actually takes — it can run higher. A business rate or any active discount may change your price. You'll always get a real quote after diagnosis.
If your computer is slow but otherwise fine, an SSD upgrade is often a better value than a new machine. We clone your current drive onto the SSD so Windows or macOS, your programs, and all your files transfer exactly as they were — you just turn it back on and it's fast.
An SSD (solid-state drive) replaces the mechanical hard drive in your computer with storage that has no moving parts. On a five-to-ten-year-old machine it's usually the single biggest speed improvement available — boot times drop from minutes to seconds and everyday apps open instantly. We clone your existing drive across so your files, programs, and settings come with it.

Common questions
Will I lose my files or have to reinstall everything?+
No. We clone your existing drive onto the SSD, so Windows/macOS, your programs, and your files all come across exactly as they are. You don't reinstall anything.
Is my computer worth upgrading?+
If it's roughly five to ten years old with a mechanical hard drive, an SSD usually transforms it for a fraction of a new machine's cost. We'll tell you honestly if yours is too old to be worth it.
